AR/ VR technology startup AutoVRse Raises $2 Million in Seed Funding Round Led by Lumikai
AutoVRse, a domestic AR/VR technology startup, has secured a $2 million seed funding round led by Lumikai, a venture capital fund specializing in gaming and interactive media.
Joining Lumikai as investors in this funding round are prominent figures, including Rajat Monga, co-founder of TensorFlow and Inference.io; Yash Kotak, founder and CEO of Jumper.ai; Deepak Kumar, Chief Customer Officer at Observe.AI and early investor at Fractal; and Viswanathan Krishnamurthy, former CIO/VP at Yahoo & Eaton.
The company will allocate funds towards enhancing the brand’s enterprise product, “VRseBuilder,” to facilitate VR deployment at scale for the digital transformation of training, design, and sales workflows within heavy industry and manufacturing enterprises.
Co-founded by Ashwin Jaishanker and Adarsh Muthappa, VRseBuilder constitutes a comprehensive, modular technology stack and Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. It encompasses a pre-built VR content library, a VR-native Learning Management System (LMS), a deployment platform and knowledge repository, and a Unity Software Development Kit (SDK) with a no-code editor. These components collectively empower the digital transformation of traditional industries.
Moreover, the brand leverages its in-house game lab to conduct research and development to enhance its enterprise product. The company has also developed ‘District M,’ an innovative social, multiplayer VR rhythm game.
AutoVRse boasts a track record of delivering VR solutions to renowned global companies such as Shell, Godrej, Bosch, Tata Motors, Ultratech Cements, and the Aditya Birla Group, among others. This underscores the company’s prowess and effectiveness in catering to the needs of diverse industrial clients.
